I analyse research papers, design neural networks for distance estimation, derive relations between absolute distance and disparity maps, and implement state-of-the-art methods for object detection, depth estimation, pose estimation etc. I also work on performance evaluation of models on embedded platforms such as Jetson Orin Nano and Jetson Nano, and the refinement of data through post-processing techniques.

Undergraduate Researcher at IIT Dharwad           Aug 2022-Sep 2023

My year long research endeavour at IIT Dh focused on reducing the transmission cost of text messages over a wireless channel. I implemented word prediction and completion models for a noiseless and an erasure channel, exploiting the inherent correlation and predictability of language to constrain transmission costs by allowing the destination to predict or complete words, with potential dissimilarity with the source text.

I worked on video future frame prediction, analysed research papers, implemented state-of-the-art methods and experimented with diverse model architectures. I also worked with optical flow techniques like FlowNet2 and PWCNet.
